I film love the way others write poetry.
Hello, I'm Tom. I'm Bartomeu Villalba, everyone calls me Tom, a wedding filmmaker born in Mallorca in 1990. I trained in cinema, not in weddings, and for the last four seasons I've devoted myself entirely to filming love, refining a narrative style that feels more like a film than a recording. I film love in its purest form, so the heart can inhabit every instant again. This island is home: I know its light, its venues, and the way an afternoon in July turns gold around seven.
I don't record weddings.
In a world that never stops changing, memory is the only thing that stays. I don't record weddings. I distil one irreplaceable day into a film you'll return to for the rest of your lives. That's why I take only a handful each year. Done properly, a wedding film asks for everything: the early morning, the long edit, the colour grade nobody sees me doing. Spread thin, it shows. So I don't.
Six years, frame by frame.

My camera doesn't chase perfect moments, it chases truths born of love.
What moves me isn't documenting a day, but capturing the moments you can't plan, and turning them into something you can live again, as if time had stopped on your screen. On the day I'm unobtrusive, one person, present and calm, blending in, never directing you into poses. Catalan-, Spanish- and English-speaking couples are all at home with me, and international couples are welcome in English. You get one person you'll actually get to know, not a rotating crew.
